World Cup Final Time and MLB Scores Free Pick
Jul 11th, 2010

It’s the Netherlands and Spain in the FIFA World Cup odds Final. Spain is the slight favorite to win the 2010 World Cup.

Free pick for Sunday is on the Angels says OffshoreInsiders.com Senior Handicapper Matt Rivers.

I’m not fully sold on Trevor Cahill and even on the road I’ll back Jered Weaver today. Jeff’s younger brother was not great in Chicago last time out against the White Sox but the right-hander has been pitching like an All-Star pretty much all season long and should be fine here against the sketchy A’s.

Cahill has had a breakthrough of sorts this season and is certainly at the very least capable right now. But he is not a guy that I would deem trustworthy, even if the numbers are looking very good over the past few months. I expect the guy to come back down to Earth and regress back to what I feel he still really is.

Meanwhile Cahill’s A’s are as mediocre as they come. These guys will at best teeter around .500 for the season but they are nothing more at all and when up against an upper echelon hurler, which Weaver is, should not be able to muster all that much.

Mike Scioscia’s club has been up and down a lot this season but they are overall a quality club with some professional sticks and a squad that is clearly superior to the A’s. Aybar, Kendrick, Matsui, Abreu and Hunter form a solid lineup and with Weaver on the hill will win a lot more than they will lose, with this being an example of just that.

I’m not at all saying that the Angels are a full-blown lock here on the road as Anaheim is not the team they have been over the past 8-10 seasons and are not better than good right now. But the Halos are the superior team on the field today and in the end this price is cheap enough for me.

For more information: Two releases today and one really serious dog is about to bark as I improve to 5-1 over the past three days. In fact I have isolated a pair of pups today in the 1:00 hour so make sure you get these before they start.

300,000* Dog of the Year plus a bonus 100,000* as I return to prime form and bury that Crookie some more. Click now to purchase Matt Rivers picks.
